Our new benchmark on holiday entitlement looks at the basic paid holiday entitlement provided to employees, the proportion of companies that give additional service related leave and the amount given, at various service intervals.
Eight out of ten companies told us they give their employees paid time off on bank holidays, and median basic paid holiday entitlement per year (excluding bank holidays) is 25 days.
Just under half of the respondents said they provide extra service related leave for employees. One hundred and sixty-five companies responded to the survey across England, Wales and Scotland.
